the rapidly changing world

When I was looking through weibo the other day, I noticed a piece of weibo. It said that an adult man found in a popular science magazine which wrote the solar system had eight planets and the highest mountain Mount Everest was 8844 meters high. He at first considered it ridiculously wrong but then was astonished to find out the magazine was right.
It sets me thinking. As we grow up, we learn many things which are called common sense. We accept them as perfectly justified and self-evident. wholesale jerseys, What's more, we base our knowledge structure, ideological contents and behavior style on those common senses. However both the world we live and our understanding to it are changing at railway speed. What we believed to be unalterable principles can be subverted at any time. cheap mlb hats, We, young people, are also experiencing this. The new generations have their more brand new common sense as well. They grasp quite a lot of common senses which are new knowledge to us. Somehow it's possible to understand where generation gap comes from.
Anyway, what I want to stress is that modern society is changing with each day passing by. cheap oakley sunglasses, The information we accept in one single day nowadays is probably 1000 times and even more of that of ancient days. To keep up with the society, we must pay more attention to fresh news and learn new technology.

Knowledge Never Equals Wisdom

'Knowledge' and 'wisdom' are two different words. Some people think that they are the same and being wise equals being smart. But it's not right.
In my opinion, wisdom has nothing to do with knowledge. cheap jerseys, If you have a wealth of knowledge, it means that you can solve a lot of problems using your knowledge but you may still stuck by some simple problems if you are not wise. But if you are wise, you are able to live a peaceful and fulfilling life without much knowledge. For example, cheap snapback hats, my grandpa graduated from high school and he doesn't own a wealth of knowledge but he often tells me how to achieve a successful and fulfilling life and he always tells me to be modest and thrifty. However, there are a lot of university professors who commit severe crimes. And it's true that being smart doesn't mean being a good man and one with a poor knowledge can also be wise.
But it's vital for us to obtain knowledge now. Wisdom is usually developed and concluded from knowledge. At the same time, fake oakley sunglasses, we should learn how to make what we are doing meaningful and beneficial. It's never acceptable to use our knowledge to do bad things. And we should always remember that knowledge never equals wisdom.

Bye 2016, I am not gonna miss you.

When I was in the Uni, one day, I visited a classmate; he told me how an outstanding student he was in China. Then he showed me photos of his school time, he said: “You see, I was the smartest student in the class, I was the only one who entered the best Uni in China.”

I did admire him for his excellence.

However, every time I saw him, he complained about how bad luck he’s got in Australia, it seemed like his talent hasn't been discovered so that he has never tried to find a proper job in Australia.

A couple of years ago, he started smoking and gambling with very limited money he’s got from Centrelink.

To be honest, he’s a nice person, kind, knowledgeable and helpful, but he’s completely lost himself by hanging around with negative people.

He’s still living in his wonderland the time in China; nothing can get his life back in Australia.

I’ve also heard some Chinese immigrants talking about how high social status they’ve got in China, how prestige jobs they were doing previously, living in Australia seems a bad decision. With poor English skill, they can’t live in the mainstream lifestyle.

They feel lost, they are unwilling to accept new culture by communicating or making friends with locals, they don’t join activities, they complain about how boring life in Australia, they would like talk about how wonderful their old days.

Please stop keep telling about old stories, it might be inspiring, you can learn from your previous experience for how a disciplined person once you were, but please don’t live on it, it was past tense, and it’s gone forever.

You have to stand up again, doing something new, learning a new language, meeting new people. What a good chance, there are nice people from all over the world in Melbourne.

The same as myself, when I moved out of Chisholm College, I missed nice friends so much, I tried to find a place exactly the same with lots lovely people around, but in vain.

I missed the old lifestyle so much—part time job, part time study, I even didn’t wanna find a full-time position. I was really sad about the best moment was gone. I was completely lost; I didn’t know what's the purpose I was in Australia.

I didn’t join any activity, I didn’t meet new people, and I stuck in the past. I was lazy, I didn’t do exercise, I didn’t care much about dresses, I ate lots of chips and ice cream being a couch potato, then I gained weight suddenly.

I was lacking energy, I was no longer an active person, it made me feel like a retired woman, and I felt really old.

It is until I pursue my hobbies by making new friends, and especially doing writing, which gives me a sense of reborn.

Please don’t live in the past, it’s harmful, which will kill you, you have to start your new life from today.

Therefore, no matter how brilliant you have been, a successful past doesn’t represent a bright future.

You have to stop thinking about those old days, you will never be happy, never be satisfied if you compare to your comfortable life you have ever had.

You have to conquer difficulties and accept new challenges living in a brand new world. Then your life will start….

How about you, friends, are you ready for completing your past 2016?
